The function of miniature circuit-breakers is to automatically cut off circuits to protect cables and connected devices. Variant DLS 7 is certified to UL 1077 and thus satisfies the strict requirements for the US market. Switching devices certified to UL 1077 are permitted as components, in other words additional protective switches for wiring performed at the factory. The UL approval can be seen by the UR label for „Recognized Component“. The approval permits the switch to be installed into controllers that are project managed, wired and tested by specially trained personnel at the factory.
