Two-time winner of a Dutch Industrial Suppliers and Customer of the Year Award (DISCA)

In 2007, itsme, then called Ehrbecker Schiefelbusch, won the DISCA in the Value Added Reseller category. Many finals later, we could celebrate again: in 2021 itsme was declared winner in the Best Parts & Process Supplier category!

We are happy that this is recognised and appreciated by customers and suppliers. Equally gratifying is the fact that these expressions of appreciation extend over a longer period of time. In the meantime, itsme has always been a 'regular finalist'. A clear sign that itsme has remained itself even in turbulent times: "a reliable partner" according to DISCA'21's jury report.

Link Magazine, the management magazine on cooperation between companies, has organised the Dutch Industrial Suppliers and Customer Awards since 2002. The DISCA are an institution in Dutch industry. Companies cannot nominate themselves, they have to be nominated by their customers or suppliers. Therefore, a nomination in itself is an important form of recognition.

Three awards will now be presented during the annual DISCA event. The categories are: Best Customer, Best Knowledge Supplier and Best Parts & Process Supplier. The latter category was established in 2020 in response to the supply problems experienced by outsourcers that year. The award rewards suppliers who show themselves to be reliable partners even in difficult times.

In 2021, another difficult year, over 300 companies had been nominated by 175 industry suppliers. After an exciting final, itsme stayed ahead of the four other finalists in the Best Parts & Process Supplier category. Thus, fourteen years after the first, itsme won its second DISCA. In the intervening years, itsme has been a regular in the finals (and we hope to be so in the years to come). A company that makes it to the finals of the DISCA is, according to Link Magazine, "a top supplier or top outsourcer." So even the series of finals places is in itself something for us to be proud of.
 

Reliable over the years

In 2007, the Demand Chain Navigator was deployed to objectively identify the added value of the nominees. A jury of customers praised the broad technical product range, the finding of special items on customer request, the transparent rate structure, the unburdening of customer processes and the driven customer orientation in the various branches of Ehrbecker Schiefelbusch.
 

Under a new name and with a new generation at the helm, the company won the hearts of the jury again in 2021. The members judged that itsme performs well in reliability, customer understanding, speed and alertness, technical support, thinking along with fast-growing customers, openness and honesty, clear communication via a fixed point of contact, correct delivery, connecting people and parties and good digitalisation.
