Stago Defem - The wire tray for demanding conditions

Stago's Defem wire tray system meets the most demanding conditions, such as the heavy chemical industry, offshore or the food industry. Defem is part of the wide product range that cable tray manufacturer Stago carries from the Wibe Group in the Netherlands. The system is quick to assemble, versatile, safe, high quality, strong and economical.

Fast assembly

You are busy, so the system is designed to take very little time to install. In as little as 30 seconds you can make a connection with key 10. In addition, the Defem cable tray system from Stago includes various screwless accessories.

Widely applicable

Special profiles have been developed for the food industry, making Defem suitable for a variety of applications. C, G and Z profiles keep cables protected, accessible and easy to clean (also according to HACCP). Dimensions are available from 30mm to 622mm width and the mini wire tray is available for mounting in the smallest spaces.

Safety first

The system meets the most important safety requirements:

  • E30 and E90 certified fireproof, so function retention of up to 90 minutes at extremely high temperatures according to the DIN 4102-12 guideline.
  • Suitable for equipotential bonding according to IEC 61537, 11:1 and DIN VDE 0100 standards.
  • Tensilock lock bolts and nuts ensure correct force on couplings.
  • Resistant to vibration according to EN50155 standardization due to self-locking properties.

Solid & high quality

Stago's Defem wire tray is known for its sturdiness and load-bearing capacity. Loads up to 200kg/meter are possible. And the standard thicker wire diameters starting at 5mm makes the wire tray 56.25% stronger than a 4mm wire diameter. Five meters of span is possible without support and the load capacity is the same at every point of the span. Quality is guaranteed by strict quality control at the factory. Moreover, there is no corrosion thanks to gas-free connection in the couplings.

Stago, meters ahead in cable support systems.

Avebe - A Good Night’s Sleep Thanks to FactoryScan
Companies often have no clear idea of the installed base of industrial automation in their factories and warehouses. With FactoryScan, itsme can provide an overview of the current status of automation components such as PLCs. Potato processor Royal Avebe uses the results to update their component stock and assess future availability. The scan is intended to reduce the number of hardware-related disruptions Process Control Engineer Johan Wierenga has to deal with. It also helps him sleep better, knowing the stock is up to date.
