Stahl Electromach - SPAC Barriers

The improved ISpac isolator barriers from R. STAHL provide intrinsically safe interfaces for field equipment. They are particularly suitable for functional safety in SIL 2 and SIL 3 applications and can be easily installed on DIN rails or a pac carrier/backplane. R. STAHL’s solutions offer numerous advantages during installation and throughout the production process lifecycle:

  • Smart design, resulting in 30% space savings in the cabinet.
  • Enhanced energy efficiency.
  • Front-facing labeling and light indication.
  • Removable terminals (screw/push).
  • Redundant power supplies to improve availability.
  • Combined error signaling for installed barriers.
  • Available for all standard signals (Analog, Digital, Temperature).
  • Flexible solutions, including adapters for quick and easy replacement of existing 19” cards (E-Cards).
  • Robust, vibration-resistant design.
  • Flexible adjustments can be made effortlessly.
  • Suitable for harsh industrial environments.
  • Simple and safe operation.
  • Optional decoupling of HART signals.
  • Global certifications.

ISPAC pac-Bus

The Series 9294/31-12 pac-Bus supplies power to 30 to 50 Series 92xx ISpac devices. Auxiliary power can be supplied to the pac-Bus segment via the 9194/50-01 terminal set. Alternatively, the 9193/21-11-11 power module can be used to provide redundant power and to read collective error signaling. The pac-Bus can be mounted onto NS 35/15 and NS 35/7.5 DIN rails. The 9294/31-12 pac-Bus can also be combined with the 9194/31-17 pac-Bus.

  • Reduced costs due to faster wiring of ISpac devices.
  • Mounted and snapped onto standard DIN rails – extendable at any time.
  • Suitable for industrial environments subject to vibrations.
