Finder's Series 80 and Series 83
Meet the Series 80 and Series 83 from Finder, a range of multifunctional and mono-function time relays.
Series 80 - compact universal time relays
The Series 80 compact time relays for 35 mm rail mounting are only 17.5 mm wide and available in eight different versions. The Series 80 is made up of two multi-function and six mono-function versions and always multi-voltage.
The 80.01 multi-function version has six frequently requested time functions and is suitable for a connection voltage of 12 to 240 V AC/DC and has a 16 A changeover contact. The 80.71 is almost identical to the 80.01 with the difference being a solid state output for switching loads with a high switching frequency. The mono-function versions are available as delayed-rising, inrush-changing, delayed-falling with or without auxiliary voltage, star-delta and asymmetric impulse generator (pulse-pause). The mono-function versions are also multi-voltage, connection range and output contact depending on the version.
Series 83 - complete range of industrial time relays
The Series 83 consists of three multi function versions and six mono function versions. This puts 22 different time functions at the user's disposal, including a number of time functions not found on other time relays.
With the six mono-function versions, one has a choice of three standard functions or delay-off without auxiliary voltage, star-delta and asymmetric impulse generator (pulse-pause). The 83.01 multi-function version has eight frequently requested time functions and one changeover contact. The 83.02 also has a second changeover contact and the option of an external potentiometer for time setting. The 83.52 has eight additional time functions not found on other Series 83 time relays. This version also has two changeover contacts and an input that can be used for pause or an external potentiometer depending on the selected time function.
All Series 83 time relays are multi-voltage (24 to 240 V AC/DC), 22.5 mm wide and for mounting on 35 mm rail.

Phoenix Contact - Increase cybersecurity of machines and installationsRead moreThe benefits of network connectivity, such as increased productivity and flexibility, are obvious. But unfortunately, this also creates more and more potential attack targets for all kinds of cyber attacks. Cybercriminals repeatedly manage to exploit new vulnerabilities to gain unauthorised access to machines and facilities, for example. That is why governments are introducing new (additional) cyber security legislation. In doing so, they set ambitious goals.

Bright Renewables - From Webinar to an Actual Predictive Maintenance ProjectRead moreUnder the header “FastForward”, itsme supports product improvement and process acceleration, including by informing customers about time-saving solutions and smart technologies. For example, in spring 2023, a webinar on predictive maintenance was organised in collaboration with KIM Plus Delta, consultants for asset and maintenance management. Bright Renewables’ participation resulted in an actual predictive maintenance project for Bright's green gas plants.

Signaal 64 - Boon Edam - Toegang tot VMI en een groot assortimentRead moreBoon Edam, known for its revolving doors and turnstiles, picked itsme as their main electrical components supplier last year. The large product range and the vendor managed inventory (VMI) solution for the grab stock of electrical assembly materials were the deciding factors. “When you install VMI, you actually do it forever.”

Sissing Noord - Commissioning FrequencyRead moreSissing Noord in Leek (Groningen) is an expert in the maintenance, renovation and construction of “wet” infrastructure, like movable bridges, pumping stations and locks. For the drives of these structures, itsme supplies the speed drives and, where necessary, also the technical know-how. For projects where Sissing Noord needs this knowledge, specialist itsme offers “some relief”.

Connected Business - Vendor Managed InventoryRead moreThe Lean improvement method distinguishes eight waste categories. One of these is 'inventory'. Too much stock is not good, but neither is too little. After all, having stock also provides the safe feeling of availability in times of uncertain internal planning and external factors that cannot be directly influenced. Because optimising availability both in one's own company and in the supply chain is often not the core competence of our customers, itsme can take over the care of such optimisation, for example through the import and management of so-called Vendor Managed Inventory systems. But, how do you know whether VMI is indeed the right solution? Ralph van Aartsen can answer that crucial question - using five questions. Here, in advance, are his answers to our questions on VMI.
